muse
a. A guiding spirit.
b. A source of inspiration.
According to Wikipedia:
...poetry, and literature are the goddesses or spirits who inspire the creation of literature and the arts. They were considered the source of the knowledge, related orally for centuries in the ancient culture, that was contained in poetic lyrics and myths.
I've recently discovered that I'm a muse. No one told me, I just had a knowing...a deep feeling about it. I used to feel that it was a burden. It just felt like everyone was coming to me to pick my brain about one thing or another, or to get inspiration or an encouraging word. I've even been known as the "go to" person for brainstorming creative ideas. As a result I've helped friends write books, screenplays, business plans/proposals, build their business, create poetry, design websites and more! Now, I see it as a gift. Something truly that only I have to offer the world. I get excited when I think of myself as a muse. Beyond career building and what some may consider the practical sense, I've also inspired and encouraged creatively and sexually...and yes, now I see that as a gift as I learn more abount tantra and the power of the yoni and my creative feminine energy power.
I am at a point of self discovery and have opened myself to new experiences that have led me away from and more toward quantum science and delving into more aspects of the spirit world.
